Play Synopsis

Honey is a lady of the night. Unashamed. Uninhibited. John is a familiar customer. One night, a break in routine causes the unexpected. Neither will ever be the same.

Honey is an 18-year-old prostitute with a dark secret. Raised by the streets, she is seductive, quick-witted and tough. Seemingly unashamed of her profession, Honey keeps her interactions as strictly business. However, when her long-time client, John, longs for more from their relationship, Honey is forced to confront a painful past.

A 40-year-old lonely truck driver with no real friends or close family. John spends most of his time in his truck driving from city to city. He is sarcastic, cynical, and unhappy. The most intimate relationship he has is with a prostitute he sees weekly. Slowly, their exchanges start to change his outlook on life.
